LEARN MORE

Frank Capuano ventured into the home remodeling business at an early age and has been growing his successful business for almost 20 years. The 39-year-old entrepreneur grew up in a family of hard working men and women who value traditional craftsmanship and hold in high regard the fading skill of working with ones hands. Frank established CAPS CT, LLC in 1999 on the CT Shoreline. In 2017, he moved locations to the Hamden facility he purchased and completely renovated on Sherman Avenue. The new location is far more convenient for customers and employees, as well as right around the corner from Frank’s home with his wife and three children in Spring Glen. Up to this point Frank has concentrated his creative carpentry efforts on higher-end remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms in greater New Haven; primarily in Hamden and closely surrounding towns. The CAPS crew is a close-knit circle where employees, carpenters and managers are made to feel like family. CAPS CT is highly praised by their loyal clients for extreme neatness and attention to detail. They are often noted for “leaving my home neater than when they arrived” and many times “starting as our hired contractor and departing as our friends.”

CAPS is a member of the Better Business Bureau, with an A+ rating since 1999. They are very community oriented; sponsoring local youth teams, Spring Glen 5K’s title sponsor for the past three years, as well as a strong supporter of the arts within Hamden and New Haven schools. Come visit us, just down the road on Sherman Avenue. Let the custom mural that drapes the building greet you as you sit down to a meeting with Frank and his dedicated staff, who are ready to guide you through your next remodeling or real estate adventure!

More recently CAPS has changed direction and is now focused and headstrong in the real estate market. Many people call it house flipping; we like to call it whole home rehab! CAPS takes old, worn, tired houses and rehabilitates them into dream homes that their surrounding neighbors can be proud of. If and when you are in the market to buy or sell your home, Frank urges you to think of CAPS first.

Frank goes the extra mile to find vintage elements that match the originals and tie it all together – focus on the details. And if you’re looking to make a major change like a new kitchen, bathroom, or a just a newly remodeled flair, CAPS brings the style you’re looking for. Frank has the “contractor’s eye” that only comes from years of experience in working on older homes. In vintage or heritage homes, he understands that the original character is part of the charm of ownership.

Frank is located in Hamden’s Spring Glen district. His choice to reside here was based on a sense of community, comfort for his growing family, and for his appeal of vintage homes. He is an active participant in supporting local charities and has a deep-seated passion to preserve the traditions of this classic neighborhood.

Frank and the CAPS crew are professional and accommodating, which is why my husband and I were eager to work with them again. This thoughtfulness is something we expect and appreciate about working with CAPS.   Whenever we have questions or concerns-- or if we just want to go to the house to measure for furniture-- Frank is available and accommodating.   This process has been a remarkable experience.
